Nestled in the grounds of our family farm in Cilcain, North Wales, Lil’s Lookout is a cosy countryside retreat designed for two. Surrounded by fields and with beautiful views towards Moel Famau, it’s somewhere to slow down, switch off and enjoy a little peace and quiet together.
So nice, we designed it twice! Inspired by its sister cabin Luna’s, Lil’s has the same thoughtful little luxuries our guests love, with its own private setting and gorgeous outlook across the farm.
Inside, the open-plan cabin has a super-comfy king-size bed, stylish kitchen with everything you need for your stay, dining space for two and an ensuite bathroom with power shower. Large windows make the most of the countryside views – perfect for a lazy morning coffee in bed.
Step outside onto your private deck and you’ll find the star of the show: your own Japanese soaking tub for two, complete with massage jets and mood lighting. Fill it with warm water, add some bubbles and settle in while the countryside carries on around you.
Lil’s Lookout sleeps two adults. Trelan Farm is an adults-only, pet-free retreat.

Check in to Trelan and enjoy a romantic break just for two. Friday - Sunday minimum two night stay. One night stays available Sunday - Thursday. Discount applies for stays two nights and over. Outside
Outside there is a decked terrace with further outdoor seating and a BBQ area designed to be use with disposable BBQs (available to purchase onsite). But the talking point has to be the wonderful outdoor bath. A deep Japanese soaking tub designed just for two with massage jets and mood lighting, that comes complete with lavender bubble bath, naturally. Surrounded by wildflowers, ever-changing skies and fabulous views, it’s simply glorious.
Life on the farm buzzes all around – with cows and sheep in the surrounding fields, there’s always something to see.

Although relaxing is encouraged, there is plenty to get out to see and do should the mood take you. With the nearest pub, the White Horse Inn, serving up food and ales just a mile away, that could be a great place to start.
Further afield, the stunning North Wales coastline is just 30 minutes away and Snowdon/Eryri National Park is under an hour away. And for those wanting to indulge in a bit of retail therapy, then the pretty town of Chester is 30 minutes from your door.
