Here on our beef and sheep farm here in Cilcain, North Wales, Lil’s Lookout sits pride of place. Designed for a romantic escapes, Lil’s Lookout has all you need for a break away. In true Trelan Farm style there is a Japanese soaking tub for two on the deck with jets to massage away your troubles and stress.
Lil’s Lookout is nestled away on the grounds of our beef and sheep farm in Cilcain, North Wales. Here you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush countryside and endless peace and tranquillity.
A private path leads you to to Lil’s Lookout. The open plan layout has a king size bed, with soft linen and beautiful textiles, it’s really cosy! With large windows, it’s the ideal place to take in the best of those views of Moel Famau with your morning coffee.
The contemporary kitchen has all you could need, with a microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer and sink. Delve into the cupboards and you’ll discover we have provided the all important teas and coffee. And nestled next to the kitchen is a dining table and two chairs – perfect for a romantic supper.
On the practicalities side, this clever cabin has its own ensuite, with shower & flushing toilet, heating (with easy to control thermostat) and even a TV and WiFi.
As much as we love them, Trelan Farm is a child and pet free holiday retreat.

Check in to Trelan and enjoy a romantic break just for two. Friday - Sunday minimum two night stay. One night stays available Sunday - Thursday. Discount applies for stays two nights and over. Please email hello@trelanfarm.co.uk if we can help at all. Brand new for 2023 & our latest cabin, Lil's Lookout, is available for bookings from mid October onwards. Bookings require a 25% deposit with the balance due a month before arrival.

Outside
Outside there is a decked terrace with further outdoor seating and a BBQ. But the talking point has to be the wonderful outdoor bath. A deep Japanese soaking tub designed just for two with massage jets and mood lighting, that comes complete with lavender bubble bath, naturally. Surrounded by wildflowers, ever-changing skies and fabulous views, it’s simply glorious.
Life on the farm buzzes all around – with cows and sheep in the surrounding fields, there’s always something to see. We are happy to show you around and introduce you to some of the animals – including our resident Sheltland pony, Alma. The natural wildlife is just as important, with bees and birds being encouraged with bee house and bird feeders.
Nearby
Although relaxing is encouraged, there is plenty to get out to see and do should the mood take you. With the nearest pub, the White Horse Inn, serving up food and ales just a mile away, that could be a great place to start.
Further afield, the stunning North Wales coastline is just 30 minutes away and Snowdon National Park is under an hour away. And for those wanting to indulge in a bit of retail therapy, then the pretty town of Chester is 30 minutes from your door.
