Wynne’s mum Sandra well known for her tasty homemade gins and jams. Sandra’s amazing Rhubarb Gin has got to be one of our favourite recipes and its so easy to make too!
You will need…
400g of Rhubarb, the pinker the better
250g of Caster Sugar
750ml of Gin
Method
Cut your Rhubarb into one inch pieces.
Put everything in the jar and shake lightly
Store in a cool dark place for two weeks before bottling. Check a couple of days in that all of the sugar has dissolved, if not gently agitate the jar to encourage it to do so.
After two weeks enjoy over ice with your favourite tonic. As we say here in Wales, Iechyd Da!
